Got a question on this card so, let s say the user declares an attack and the other player declares forward X blocking the attack, if then you use this cards effect on the blocker, does the attack directly become a damage point or can the defender choose another blocker?
Also maximum number of backups is 5, are there any maximum number of forwards?

Blocker already declared. It wont matter if you used it on him. They will still trade damage. You would have to use it BEFORE blockers are declared during the time after an attacker is declared or earlier in the turn.
