Card Review! Today: Union Hangar
!
This card is honestly so amazing, when playing the ABC engine, you should always run 3 plus 3 terraforming, because starting off with 1 or even 2, for when it gets destroyed(happens to me fairly frequently), puts you in such a good situation, I myself run a lv 4 spam deck with lots of options for r4 Xyz and less for lv6 and lv8 synchros, and every time I open with a union hangar -or two- I get a lv 4 monster from my deck, free search, then when I summon it, another free search, or if I SS-ed with either goblindbergh or gold/silver gadget or any lv 4 monster that special summons a lv 4(machine/light), kagetokage, I can overlay for a rank 4 Xyz monster, this can be the utopia series or Castel, #101, dark rebellion, there are so many options, then after I Xyz-summoned, if B-Buster Drake was equipped to my NS-ed union monster it would be sent to grave, its eff would trigger giving me the missing union piece setting me up to make more combo plays next turn. This could include normal summoning a goblindbergh special summoning the missing union piece, then activating Union Hangar's 2nd Eff, equiping Torque Tune Gear, Synchro any generic lv 8 Synchro, Stardust, Hot Red, Stardust Spark, Scarlight Red, etc. And you get to summon ABC as well, a 3000 beater, with a quick-banish eff, and even if its targeted or destroyed you can special your material on the field and summon a second ABC(even when they are destroyed/sent to grave). This is only from what I have tested -I'm sure more experienced players can find even crazier combos- and it is already so good at what it does, amazing card, so accessible, only needs $13(12.91 rn) to get the generic engine up and running(2x A , 2x B , 2x C , 2x A B C , 3xUnion) and Terraforming is a staple. This card gets a 10/10 for me. |
