Home site isn't too bad as he can use elves of lindon here for a good start. In a tournament Ive seen "Old Road" used to great effect with Pallando from the grey havens, it totally caught me by surprise. Pallando is a very popular wizard and quite frankly a good one for the game. He is considered a squatter wizard for the most part. Too keep him safe and for his extra card in hand ability is extremely powerful in this game. Also the discard face up is a game revealer for this player. Lacking the scout skill is the avoidance theme a pallando player would want, which is another reason to keep him site parked. Make sure to use his diplomat skill too good effect. Factions are the strong point for this wizard. Lastly as a squatter he is good for tapping in the org phase for sideboard action. |
